Stress

A break without a productivity assignment

You can pause without turning the pause into another thing to perform well.

LushClover · 02

The break has a checklist

You should stretch, meditate, drink water, walk and return refreshed. The list is so ambitious that you spend the first minutes deciding how to make the most of it.

LushClover · 03

Ask what fits this moment

Do you need the bathroom, a drink, a different position or a little quiet? Choose the ordinary need you can meet. A break does not require a full wellness routine.

LushClover · 04

Let the activity be simple

Look out of a window, sit somewhere comfortable or step away from the task if possible. You can enjoy a few minutes without measuring whether they improved your concentration.

LushClover · 05

Respect the setting you have

Some jobs and caregiving situations limit when a break is possible. Use available options and ask for coverage or support where appropriate. There is no need to pretend everyone controls their schedule.

LushClover · 06

Return as you are

You may feel better, unchanged or still tired. The pause did not fail because it did not transform you. It gave one need some attention in the middle of a demanding day.

Stay a little longer
