Stress

The plan for an unusually busy week

A demanding week may need a simpler version of ordinary life.

LushClover · 02

The calendar is already crowded

There is travel, a deadline and a family commitment. You keep your normal expectations anyway: the same meals, spotless rooms and every optional appointment. The plan assumes a week you are not actually having.

LushClover · 03

Decide what must remain

Keep essential care, safety and real commitments in view. Then identify what can become simpler, move to another day, or be shared. This is a planning decision, not a verdict on your competence.

LushClover · 04

Make the temporary changes explicit

Tell the relevant people what will be different. A simpler dinner or delayed optional errand is easier to understand when it is named before someone relies on the usual arrangement.

LushClover · 05

Leave room for an unexpected task

If possible, avoid filling every remaining gap. If there is no margin at all, that may be a reason to renegotiate the load rather than create a more detailed schedule.

LushClover · 06

Return gradually afterward

When the week ends, check what truly needs catching up. You may discover that some lowered expectations were perfectly workable. Keep that information for the next busy period.

Stay a little longer
