Overthinking

The worry that needs an appointment

Some concerns become clearer when you give the practical part a place in the calendar.

LushClover · 02

The renewal keeps visiting your mind

You remember the insurance letter while brushing your teeth, during lunch, and just before bed. Each time, you think “I need to sort that” and continue without deciding when.

LushClover · 03

Find the next visible action

Is the first step finding the letter, checking a date, or asking a question? Avoid scheduling “sort my whole life out.” Give the task a beginning that another person could recognize.

LushClover · 04

Put the materials together

Place the letter and the number you need in one folder. This is preparation, not a promise that the issue will be easy. It removes one reason to postpone starting again.

LushClover · 05

Reserve a realistic window

Choose a time when the office is open and you have enough privacy. If you need help understanding the document, include asking for that help in the plan.

LushClover · 06

Let the reminder point somewhere

When the concern returns, you now have a scheduled next step. If new urgent information arrives, adjust it. Otherwise, you do not have to make the same plan from scratch each time.

Stay a little longer
