Sleep

When the house finally gets quiet

The time after everyone else settles may be the only part of the day that feels entirely yours.

LushClover · 02

You are tired but reluctant to stop

The work is finished and the house is quiet. Going to bed feels like handing over the last hour before the next day begins. Another episode becomes a way to keep some time for yourself.

LushClover · 03

Name what the hour gives you

Is it silence, choice, entertainment or freedom from being needed? Knowing that makes it easier to look for a little of it elsewhere, if your circumstances allow.

LushClover · 04

Protect a smaller version deliberately

You could choose one episode in advance or a short stretch with a book. An intentional ending may feel different from continuing until you can barely keep your eyes open.

LushClover · 05

Look at the demands around it

If there is no room for rest anywhere, a bedtime rule is not the whole answer. Consider whether responsibilities can be shared or a task can wait. Some constraints need help beyond a personal routine.

LushClover · 06

Keep both needs in view

You deserve time that feels like yours, and you need an opportunity to sleep. The question is how to make some room for both, without treating either need as an indulgence.

Stay a little longer
