Stress

You are allowed to eat before finishing

An unfinished task does not automatically deserve the next hour more than you do.

LushClover · 02

Lunch keeps moving back

You will eat after the email, then after the call, then after the correction. Each small delay seems reasonable. By midafternoon, the meal has become another overdue task.

LushClover · 03

Look at the actual urgency

Does the work need action now, or does stopping simply feel uncomfortable? Some situations are genuinely urgent. Many ordinary tasks can survive a short, clearly communicated pause.

LushClover · 04

Make food easy to reach

Use what is available and suitable for you. The point is not to produce an ideal meal in an impossible gap. It is to give a basic need a place in the working day.

LushClover · 05

Tell someone if the schedule prevents it

If breaks repeatedly become impossible, discuss coverage or workload with the appropriate person. A personal reminder cannot solve every working condition.

LushClover · 06

Return without a penalty story

You do not need to work faster afterward to justify eating. NIMH includes regular meals in everyday self-care. Your needs belong in the plan while the work is still unfinished.
